Fairfax The Academy has one standard: Jesus Christ. From His vital presence in our lives we draw example, guidance and inspiration to be the best we can be as teachers and students, striving always to reflect Him in all that we do. Even when we do not meet all of our goals, He remains faithful and constant, and as we follow Him, we achieve far more than we might otherwise have done alone. Each year 90 percent of FBTA graduates go on to college, most of them with Advanced Studies Diplomas. Our test scores are consistently above the national average. An outstanding music program allows students to develop their talents in piano, strings, woodwinds, brass and hand-bells—the school features several choirs and two orchestras. A focus on world missions is emphasized, and high standards of goodness, truth, decency and good manners are encouraged in each student. Dress is modest and is regulated by way of uniforms.
